Now that Demi Lovato has bowed out of the Jonas Brothers' tour to "emotional and physical issues," concerned fans are rallying behind the singer-actress and wondering what was troubling her.A representative for the 18-year-old teen sweetheart declined to describe the nature of Demi's issues, but a source close to the Camp Rock star's family telss people that in the past, she has "fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. … Demi is taking control by getting help."
Joe Jonas new girlfriend, ashley green. who was photographed in Ecuador with the Jonas Brothers this week. In September, Demi told Celebuzz that she managed to remain friendly with Joe on tour because "you have to, ‘cause you work with him… When you’re hurt, it’s easy to move on, so it was very easy for me to move on.”
Demi was a victim of bullying, an issue many teens are now coming forward to address. As far back as 2009, long before the current trend, Lovato spoke out against bullying in a PSA commercial. Check it out below:
Demi recently told Cambio that she "actually ended up leaving school because of [bullying."]
"I just called my mom and I was crying and I said ‘I don’t want to go to school any more,'" Demi said of her younger years. "It was a rough time, I was by myself."
The good news, as TMZ reports, is that Demi's rep confirms she is not receiving treatment for drug use.
